Co-founder of the band in 1979 --- played guitars, keyboards, drums, as well as lead vocals on early releases --- now primarily the lead vocalist. Responsible for almost all of the groups lyrics as well as the music for such classics as "Creature", "But to Love You", and "She Sleeps". ![]() Johnny Ice
Co-founder of the band in 1979 --- played lead guitar, keyboards, and some vocals on early releases --- now primarily the groups keyboards and electronics specialist. Wrote the music for most of the early classics, including "A Cool Dark Place to Die", "It's All Over Now", and "Miron". ![]() Dale Garrard
Joined the band in 1985 after the release of "Mouse Blood" --- took over lead guitar and backing vocal duties. Responsible for many the middle period classics, including "In the Attic", "Dreams of Fire", and "Way Gone... With The Worms". ![]() Jay Planty
Joined the band in 1987 after the release of "The Dead" --- giving the band two lead guitarists --- also responsible for most of the production work on later releases. Wrote the music for many of the more recent classics, including "The Gallows Dance", "Bonfire", and "The Flickering Screen". |
